Full Metal Jacket YJ Build
Well I figured I'd start a build thread for my 95 YJ, I bought it about a year ago after a car pulled out in front off my in my 1st gen 4-runner on tsl's that I had poured money into. After fighting with the chicks insurance for several months I came out with about 4300 bucks thats with selling the truck itself for 1000, so my search began I wanted a 4wd mainly a wrangler but was open to older toyotas too. I test drove a tj and man it was the biggest POS I'd ever drove, the guy wasted my time i drove 3 hours took a day off of school and everthing. So once again I was hunting for a jeep a found a beautiful YJ about 2 hours away for 5500 I was short 1200 dollars so I just dreamed a couple weeks later it was listed again for 5000 firm so I threw my mtn bike up on CL and it sold for 700 so I called the guy and he actually drove down to meet me, the moment I saw it coming down the road I knew it was the one it had 108k on the 4 banger and a 3.5 inch Fabtech with 33x12.50 Bridgestone Dueller m/t's it was a beauty. I took it home and started a wish list. I'm about to start college and my budget is pretty much nothing. I did recieve a medical settlement from the wreck in july, and some guys in a local jeep clup told me about 4WD's jeepfest in Atlanta so I kept my money in the bank and waited for that to try to get a deal on Smittybilt tube fenders, sliders, full corners, and a rear swingout, boy I'm glad i waited I saved around 300 or more on it. Here are some pictures of it when I first got it and it now.

I don't know if I would go with a fixed back over a reclining one, but they are super comfortable other than really long rides. and I'm tired of being asked why i have boat seats.haha I got to say they are some of the best on the market though.
