For everyone's info. His wife is still not happy. When the lift and tires are mentioned she still gives him a bad look. But I have to say he has a huge set of Cojones. The steps were left on initially due to her height and that she uses the jeep and needed them to get in. Then one day he shows up minus steps. When asked he responded, "She was already mad so I figured I just as well go ahead and really add to it so I took them off." He has since added some sliders but I would say they are for protection after seeing my jeep crumple as I rode a big rock with my rockers, not out of fear of his wife.

Thanks for the post. Your Jeep looks great. It was exactly what I will be doing here in a few months.

More Mods = More Pics

I recently took off the stock side steps, an added some fabbed rock sliders. I just wasn't ready to drill holes in the tub for rocker guards, and I needed to keep a step for the wife and kids. So, after looking at all the options I had a friend make these. I put some skateboard tape on them to help when it's raining. They are made out of 2 x 3 channel, boxed at both ends, and 1.75" tubing.

Also, I came across a great deal on a Highrock Tire Carrier. This allowed me to upgrade to a 33" spare, and fixed my sagging tailgate problem. I still need to get a full sized spare.

I also relocated my rear aux lights to the gap between the tub and fender. The $20 fog lights from walmart fit perfectly. I did have to drill 4 holes in the bumper for them to mount. If you can tell in the pic, I broke my driver's side light, so another set is waiting in the garage. This will be the 3rd set! I am so glad I didn't drop the $125 for KC lights.

Awesome looking Jeep! I've been wearing out the search function here and think I'm finally going to go with this setup. Only question I have is when you ordered the rear track bar relocation bracket did you get one for 2-2.5" of lift or 3-4" of lift? I've been trying to picture where everything hooks together but I can't get it straight in my mind.

EDIT: Nevermind. Hell, stupid me was looking at the wrong thing.
