So what are you gonna do with that cute little spare?

33s with the 3 speed and 3.73s is just about perfect.

100% improvement. You could take 1/2 inch off the rear spacers to level it out. That's what I did when I had my 2.25" BB on.

I am proud of you for asking.
I thought all the pervs were in GD getting a lecture about their junk being nipped.
However, here's the closest you're gonna get to my wife's meaty rack!

That is very nice man. I've got the same tranny but with 4.11's, and it definitely looks like it'll run better with 33's than my current tires. So were you getting a solid 16mpg before the tires and lift?

This past summer, I was getting 15.9 running interstates at 75 mph with the AC on. I think the skinny tires was the main reason for maintaing such a good (relative) MPG.

Today, there was no AC, ran at 70 mph and got 14.8 mpg.

Everyone, thanks for all the accolades and questions. I am getting a bunch of questions (PMs) for more info and pics. Pics will come tomorrow, in this thread. Here is some more info about the build.

To properly fit 33's you need 3-4" lift. A Rubicon Express BB and the ever-popular Performance Accessories BL combo only yields 2.75". Just not enough. The 2.25" BB and JKS 1.25" BL yields 3.5".

Sometimes, a BB will cause driveline vibes. A MML solves this. Anyway, a BL and MML go well together. Doing the BL alone would have necessitated modifying the fan shroud due to the AC lines, AND I would probably have to drop the TC to correct vibes. Ergo, the BL/MML combo was a no brainer.

All BB's cause the rear axle to shift. The RE trackbar bracket is an easy fix and a lot cheaper than an adjustable trackbar.

2.25" BB w/skyjacker hydros - $225, 4 wheel customs
Rear track bar bracket - RE $70, 4 wheel customs
1.25" BL and 1" BMML from JKS - Redrock 4x4, $178 free shipping
33x10.5x15 BFG MT, 4 DELIVERED for $667 from www.tirepackage.com.

I will add extended discos sometime in the future. Probably JKS Quicker Discos. Today, the stock ones are on.

The shocks are HYDROS....softer than stockers...but tend to rust from road salt, so I painted them black before the install. Just be sure to sand them before painting, or the spray paint won't stick.

I have a 2" BB (the spacers are 2"), waiting to go in, along with the JKS BL and MML. I was going to go with 32's, but after seeing yours, you've caused me to start debating again.

Looks nice. Tell the wife she can spend the Federal economy boost check in May, then your even and her most recent memory is her spending money. Take her for a ride and get her to buy into wheeling as a family.

How was the bl and mml to install? Did you have to do anything with the shifting linkage being that it is an auto trans?

Thanks. She has already laid claim to the ESP check coming. Hopefully I can grenade my D35 before it shows up.

BL was a breeze.
MML sucked bad.
No problem with the linkage, no adapter needed.

The next thing you want to do is save for another 33x10.5x15 BFG MT for your spare! Think of it as a parachute...you would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!

Cheers! M2

It doesn't have to be another BFG MT. Just as long as it's the right diameter (and remember not every manufacturer and model has the same idea of what 33" is). I bet you could use a 33x9.5 BFG AT to cut down on the weight on your stock carrier..
