Free wife to good home! Pics included.

Technically, this is not a technical post. But, I had to show this off.

BEFORE

AFTER

Wife is really mad at the "missing tax refund check." You can have her if you want, but don't say you were not warned!!

Build parts
2.25" Budget Boost
Skyjacker Hydro shocks
Rubicon Express rear trackbar relocation bracket
1.25" JKS body lift
1" JKS motor mount lift
33x10.5x15 BFG MT's

Results
Total Lift at seat = 5 1/2 inches
Rides like a Cadillac
Gets 14.8 mpg
Cruises at 70 mph, 2,900 rpm
Plenty of power
Slight hum from wheels (they're MT's)
Stopping takes a little more planning

Nice, I noticed you kept the stock rims. Any rubbing with the 33s? Or do you think you'll need a wheel spacer?

No vibes. BTW, special thank you to TN Trooper Butterfield for not giving me a ticket while checking for vibes (63 mph in a 45 zone).

No rubbing at all...not even close. I added the relo bracket to recenter the axle. I am off 1/8 inch. I went ahead and trimmed 1/4" off the top rear spring perches just in case. I have over an inch on both sides. No spacers necessary.

Jeep looks good, but what does the wife look like? j/k

I'd really like to see a quarter turn pic and maybe one from behind. (the jeep of course). I have the same wheels and a buget boost and I've been thinking of doing the same tires with a body lift. I don't like the width of the 33 x 12.50 and am interested in how far the 10.50's stick out of the flares, if any.

Thanks!

I love it so much I'm copying it. I have been back and forth for a month on which lift which wheels which tires etc. I had settled on the 2.25" BB but couldn't decide between 31's or 32's. But seeing yours I'm just going to go all out with those 33x10.5's. That thing looks perfect!

You mentioned plenty of power, you got an auto right? What gears?

I've got a 6 speed with 3.73's and I turn 2900 at 80 mph now, so I was suprised to see you turning that at 70 mph. Before the 33's what did you turn, you had to be mid 3's at cruising speed.

Is that a standard 7 foot garage door height? Any clearance issues? I am getting ready to order tires and lift but want to make sure i will still fit. Looks like your rig fits fine, and i will have about the same amount of height.

They don't stick out hardly at all. Maybe 1/2". Pics tomorrow!

I have the 32RH tranny (3 speed, no OD) and 3.73 gears. My OLD rpm at 70 mph was around 3,150. However, that was runnig 235/75's which are one inch bigger than stock.

Yep, It's a 7 footer. When the door is open, the clearance is 80 inches. The top of my Jeep is 75 inches.

Not off the back, they provide good tub protection. No jugs on the front!
