Ford Hi9 rear of TJ

A long story to how I got to this point. I am installing a Ford "Hi9" in the rear of my 03 Rubicon. This is a total custom build. I bought the carrier from "Hi9" out of Dilworth, MN., the center housing is out of a late 60"s Ford pick-up, the axle tubes are 1/4" wall 3.125" wall tubing, and to top it off, the axle shafts are custom made by Moser Engineering. Fortunately, I found a guy that has been building racing diffs for 30+years that is helping me with the project. I took him on a run with local club I belong to, down to the trails near Penrose, CO., all rated 8-10. That is all it took to get him hooked on offroad and he is excited about building my diff. and even market this axle, he has a diff. shop here in town. Tomorrow we are welding on all the brackets and will hopefully have the Jeep back on the road early next week.
