I have been meaning to ask you how do you like the lockright in your D30? Do you ever drive on the street (say snow, ice) in 4HI? I was wondering how it handles. I had a aussie in my D30 on my CJ but I never drove it on the street in 4HI to see how it handled.

I drive it on the street every day but in 2wd. I've put it in 4wd a couple times and it's a real dog. Luckally we haven'thad any real snow this year. If we did I was planing on running 2wd and then put it in 4 when I needed it.

What LA are you planning to put on?

RE with Rough country shocks for the time being. Im going to get the 5.5 springs with the kit, but I have a feeling thats way more then I want. Was planning on going with the 36" IROK (actually they are a 37) but I think Im going to stick with a 35 TSL....will see havent made up my mind yet

I plan on addign a 1" spacer when I get around to going to the local shop to get them. My 36s rub a lot, so I plan on bumpstopping it when I add the spacers and new shocks.

Ive heard that the RE springs are much taller then what they list, so Im assuming 5.5 springs with 1" BL would more then I would need with 35's. I will have a winch with a different bumper on it, as well as a different tire carrier, and hopefully a matching spare. That should bring it down some what.

with RE springs you only need the 4.5" springs with no spacers or BL to run 35's

Originally I was going to run 5.5 coils but decided that it would be too tall. Then I was going to 4.5 coils, but spacers for now to keep the cost down as well as the COG. I may just bump stop it and eventually run flat fenders and trimmed rear. That's sounding better and better each day.

here's my pre flex pics with my 33s

a buddy of mine owns the shop and he was there. One of my rear springs almost popped out so I grabbed it and took it into him.

I was running RE 5.5 inch springs with my 1" body lift and 37 MT/Rs and thought it was too tall.

I just lowered mine down using some RE 4.5 inch springs and got some 36 Iroks .

rkik,

Can you post some side shots and some flex shots with the Iroks? I going to build a similar setup. Jeep looks good.
