Thanks for the info i look forward to seeing more as you build it up even more, i hope to start my own thread soon. I think i might keep the stock axles for now 30 in the front 35 out back throw in a assie locker in the front then upgrade to an 8.8 and an SYE over the summer. Im at school now down in Philly, so i have to do some driving form my home to get to my school apartment so thats why im worried about tire wear, plus i need to save my money up, hopefully april or may i will start my build or atleast have my parts by then, i already got my rims so now i just need more money haha always the issue

Haha good luck with it man, I'll go ahead and recommend buying tires used or slightly used... you can save a ton of money and if you don't like them that much, you can probably sell them for nearly what you paid and try something else.

Yeah, I figure you can get rockwells for less than a built D60/14 bolt combo, and I would rather spend $5-6k on 44in+ tires and have a nearly indestructible drivetrain and build it myself than $5-6k for 35s-37s and break crap constantly. Do I need it? By no means at all, but I will definitely be seeking out some hardcore places to wheel when I feel my rig is worthy.

This is a very far way in the future and I may change my mind many times(like have already) but at the present time it makes the most sense money/coolness/reliability-wise.

I haer you with the axles i only want my jeep to have 3" for maybe a year and a half then i wanna go up to 5.5 inch with 35's. I need to have the 33's for now casue i do alot of turn pike driving to and from my aprtment. I would however like to put an 8.8 in this summer with the SYE and toms woods driveshaft. As soon as i start my build up i'll get a thread going, right now being in school and waiting to start my new job im just kinda saving up. Hopefully some gears and tire money for christmas

Since I have the welder I want to do a few simple projects when I get the time. I'm thinking a ft bumper and a flat skid some time in the future. Probably do a 1" BL and MML to make that happen with more ease as well.

Good plan. I suggest Brown Dog for the motor mounts and whoever the hell has the cheapest body lift will work.

Guy on here named Scotch somethin or other has some awesome drawings on here for his flat skid design. I'll try to find em.
