Good build thread!! The tires look great. How are they on the road? Now I'm off to find out the expected mileage on them (been leaning towards bfg mt/at I'll be doing a 60 mile roundtrip 4-5 times a week starting in Jan to school).

Thanks for the link

latsyrcmai: I LOVE the tires They're like every other tire on the road, they roll. Just a little louder than others though They're nowhere NEAR as loud as I was expecting. There are a lot of big stupid full size Fords and Chevys around here w/ 38s+ knobby tires making a lot of noise(and never leaving paved roads either, posers) and I was half expecting to get that, not the case though.

I have a relatively big update tonight...

Here are some better pics of the tire carrier bracket I made:

Here's a video of the tailgate closing... It closes like stock:

I also installed my air compressor the other day... here are the pics of it hard-mounted:

Here is the little bag it came with, which is actually really handy for holding roadside emergency crap. In the big compartment I've got the tools and stuff for doing a tire plug, a cheapie walmart compressor(it's slow, loud, and not ideal, but if for some reason the MF1050 fails, it's there), and jumper cables. In the front pouch I have the hose and a tire gauge.

I also found out I have a ton of play in my steering box when turning way left(nearly all the way)... Take a look at this vid for an idea of how bad it is:

Man, what do I have to do to get some replies?

Got a 3 "D" cell maglite, a mount for that will be in the works soon, and MANY pics will be up in a couple weeks as I'm going to Uwharrie National Forest to go wheeling the weekend of Dec 1st.

I replaced my passenger side front axle u-joint today, mounted a couple "rock-lights" along with a switch, but don't have the wiring in yet, plan on tackling that Tuesday, along with mounting my new hi-lift jack I've got a pretty different idea for mounting it so I'll share when it's done.

Any idea how long it takes to air up your tires from around 15psi, using that compressor?

So last week I bought a bunch of recovery gear(30ft snatch strap, hi-lift jack, chain, shackles, etc etc) and installed some rock-lights in preparation for Uwharrie National Forest.

I bolted a relay into the stock PDC and ran wires to it w/ a switch inside wired to an empty fuse socket that's got power w/ ignition on. Worked well!

Here is a separate thread for my Uwharrie adventure, there are TONS of pictures, and a couple decent videos. A compilation video is in the works

Thanks guys

The air compressor worked flawlessly and hardwiring it took nearly no time at all, just leave the in-line fuse and you're good to go

Looks good. That air compressor is the exact same as the Superflow MV50 that I've got. Just a different brand on the box.. but everything else is identical right down to the logo on the bag.

It's a great little compressor.. I can air up my 31's from 10psi - 28psi in about 3-4 mins a tire.

There are about 5-6 others in my club running the exact same setup, and they all work flawlessly.
