Here is some of the aftermath:

From the tree on the night-run of Dickey Bell:

Scratched from rocks and trees and who knows what else:

And here is BESRK's bumper after using it for moving a big rock around so I could keep moving

Haha thanks guys.

Stunner - I like the MacGyver'd 3rd brake light... if you haven't already, put that into the "cheap/cool mods" thread in the Cheap Tricks and Fixes forum

My Jeep is decorated for Christmas:

Going this weekend to pick up a HP D30 assembly from another JF member. I reckon I'm going to do the WJ brake/steering knuckle swap on it, regear it, and then throw it under my Jeep when I get around to regearing the rear, then be ready for 35s and beadlocks. With the wedding closing in fast reality is getting clearer and clearer that my dreams of 2.5 ton rockwells won't be happening for a while. At least not until I'm in a decent house w/ big garage. 35s will keep me happy for a while, and also when rockwell time comes I can turn around and sell my axles for more than I could now. I figure it's an investment of sorts.

Nice. When you move up to 35's, I may be interested in taking those TSL's off your hands.

I'll PM you when that time comes...

And update for this weekend: I ended up buying a $50 hitch-reciever rack from Wally World to haul a HP D30 axle back from the DC area and me and my better half visited my aunt and uncle since they live up there.

The cargo rack is rated to hold 500lbs, as long as it's distributed well it shouldn't be a problem. I jumped up there with the axle and nothing creaked or bent, but some extra support under the "mesh" screen sort of area would make me feel a little more confident. Strapped the axle like hell and it worked great. I do however need to get some stiffer spring or something as the Jeep squats like crazy with that much weight hanging off the back.

It measures about 60" wide which is just enough for a D30

Here's a sneak peek at another mod I have in the works to keep me happy:
