^thanks!

I've been swamped with work and school but i finally got the front leafs and shackles done. My buddy has a lift that we used which made it wayy easier and we were done in about 45 minutes. we started on the rear but whatever shop the PO had do the lift job put the nuts on the shackle bolts on the outside so i have to drop the tank gas tank or find a way to cut the head off the bolt

so yeah just the front is done for now i took it for a spin and it rides WAY softer. do the booms make it ride a lot softer or did RC maybe change their springs?

well here's the pics

I need to get greaseable shackles and new springs and shocks. I don't have the moolah though.

I am going to score some sway bar quick-discos for $50 though.

The boomerang shackles really softened up my ride when I was spring under and on 3.5" skyjacker springs, but it's probaby a combination of both the new shackles and front springs.

yeah i thought if anything new springs would be more stiff....BUT i just noticed the new springs have a minus sign on them, just like the rear ones, and the old ones i took off had a plus sign... so i'm thinking maybe they sent me rear springs instead? whatever they fit fine! haha

anyways did some exploring tonight... we found an old remainder of a barn and basketball court (not pictured).. also a quick little video!

rear shackles are done pics(sense idk how to add a caption between pictures without using a photo hosting site) :

how i lifted the frame from without the axle LOL (edit: moved to bottom)

the culprit for the rear shackles not being a 30 minute job

bad flexing pics because it was getting dark (i miss summer)

wellll yesterday my exhaust broke off right at the flange going into the manifold. We were about 30 minutes from home so that sucked hahah

also, there had been a very slow motor oil leak coming from the bell housing. I think when i put everything together i just didnt punch the seal in enough I spent too much on the engine for there to be any oil leak coming from a $12 seal...

so today I ordered the new down tube which should be here tomorrow and got the new seal since removing the exhaust is unnecessary for dropping the trans.

the new felpro seal seems a lot higher quality then the victor-reinz too, I got the trans back in and called it a night. it was a very busy day

Ooofff. That's no fun! I can only imagine how fun that exhaust leak was! My front manifold stud was sheered off by the previous owner and it has really gotten bad lately. Exhaust leaks are a PITA! Looks like you got it taken care of though!
