Father and son yj's

here is how my jeep looked when i first got it, nothing all that special

The red one is mine, and the white one is my dads. one day my jeep will grow up to be that size

justt cause i would want to know if i saw these the red is lifted 4" on 33s, and the white one is lifted 8" on 35s, neither have seen a sawsall and still have stock flares and yes the rub when full flex.

and this is me next to my new soft top santa got me, notice the shorts it was 35* out, gotta love the heated garage

what lift is your dad runnin?? 4" susp. 2in BL 2in shackle?? And he still rubs with those 35's? Tell him to get some TJ flares and he shoudlnt have a rubbing problem. Hell both of you guys get some Tj flares... You and your dad is just like me and mine. He has a 95 yj, I have a 93 yj. He is stickin to 4" susp. 3/4" shackle with 33's and Im going 4" susp. 1 shackle 1" BL and TJ Flares on 35's...2 yj's are always better in the driveway than just 1 lol Nice jeeps buddy!

i believe they are rc 6in springs with 2in shackles. It does rub pretty good off road, but he does drive like an 18 year old eventhough he is 51. when the flares are off it doesnt rub but hey they were 10 bucks on craigs list. its always funny when we have the jeeps parked in the yard cause passing jeeps stop and gotta look at the fun we had that weekend while they were at the mall lol.

Those YJ's look good. I agree with the suggestion to get TJ flares. They would give you a much larger wheel well opening, and look great. Either way, those two YJ's are tight.

well mostly on this private land out in broken arrow next to the dump, and out at chandler park now since they put keep out signs by the dump.

I told my dad about the tj flares but he just got a welder and now wants to fab some stuff, first a tire carrier, the tail gate doesnt like that 35 on there

but my red jeep has been giving me alot of trouble and im now trying to rewire the engine bay its been a complete pita and i found a cj7 today soa 36 boggers hard top fresh rebuild and everything for 4 grand i cant decided if i want to sell my yj or sell my truck btw its 82 gmc pickup with the tranny out so i cant drive it anyway, or give my mom back her 02 honda accord and keep the two jeeps or any combo of those vehicles i just cant decide

I always hear about people going to chandler, but i haven't gone yet.
Also, that is a really tough decision about the cj.

Well now were up to three jeeps, you can tell which one is the new child cause she has to sit outside, heck idk if it will even fit in the garage

the cj is HUGE its soa with ranco springs not sure what size but its huge, the tires are 36/12.50 super swampers of course.

i didnt get a pic of the inside but it has brand new bestop seats, rhino lined, full cage, tool boxes.

Its huge thats about all i can say

ps. the title needs to be changed to father and son yjs + a cj lol

my dad thought his jeep would enjoy a swim

When pulling him out a big wave filled it up

Had to pull the plugs

the worst part was that he had the straps so i had to walk out there to get em, so he got stuck and i had to swim out to him i think i got screwed
