Yeah, I don't doubt that for a second a well setup 3 link would have little to no downsides to the standard "5 link" (or radius for that matter). I was thinking more for simplicity sake while building, however with the anti-dive numbers the radius arms produce, do you notice an "unloading" when going up steep hills? Especially with how tall your rig is. I figure for my first kick at the can I'd rather keep things simple, I can always upgrade in the future.

well yeah your first time doin it yeah be great, not downing it at al.. does my jeep great but ready for a change on it for myself.. no dont see an unloading out of it.. it does seem a lil top heavy with the 5.5 lift and im def wanting to lower it down to 4" spings.. already have them.. another reason im getn older and having to get in it is startin to be a *****..lol

I can only imagine, I'm 6' and even with ~4" and 33s its a decent jump up. You going with Johnny Joints next time round?

yes im goin with all new joints, the upper rear is already new.. i checked into getn 7075 alum to make my own links from that.. but the price is just a lil to much right now for that.. just goin to do 2" dom for my links.. ive been thinkn on moving the front even more out, i got to move the steering box forward.. maybe 3" more out.. that will put me 5 total..

also i just bought another 97 tj with a 2" lift and 31s today.. so the plans with that one is just build stuff off it for now and then a full crawler.. kings, 14 bolts either end, v8 and not worry bout trees with this one..lmao!!

put on my trucklites that came of a hummer that was over seas.. still had the sand built up in the fins on the back..

I got them from a Freind that he's son works on the hummers that come back off a tour of duty for maintenance.. the new ones are bad *** too.. you can look at them at trucklites.com..

went up on potts a few weeks ago.. had fun.. dont get out as much as i want these days.. but im in the process of putting a doubler 231/dana 300 in my jeep now.. final gear ratio to be 5.3:1 and crawl to be 138:1 .. wont be too bad..

aint been on here for awhile.. been working on a 97 tj... 2.5 5 speed to 2000 model 4.0 auto with a 60/14 , tri link and three link on ori's.. but anyways, ive picked up some dana 300s and working on doing a 231/300 doubler for my jeep and hes jeep.. my plan is to start making these in a set because they are very hard to get now.. cant wait to get them in..i will havet to load some pics on the on im building.. it has 108 wheelbase on 40s and lower than my jeep on 37s ..

well, been awhile again but still working on the jeep still.. have new cree led 7" light bar on the windshield and working on making new link arms with new currie joints.. 3 linking the front in a few weeks
