How are you liking those MT/Rs? It'll be a while before I move up to 35s but I'm researching now. Considering BFG KOs (ran this style since we bought the Jeep), KM2s, and MT/Rs.

Hands down the best tire I've owned. As long as the jeep is dual purpose its probably going to get these tires

I've got a tremendous squeak coming from somewhere up front. I've replaced the ds to yoke u joint and the unit bearing and it's still there.

Squeaks on take off and stops, 0 to 8 mph and vice versa.

Thoughts? Cv part of driveshaft?

It's bugging the **** out of me.

Pulled the shaft and drove around. It definitely helped but there's still a squeak somewhere. I'm tempted to set the ****ing jeep on fire.

Sounds like brake caliper and rotor to me. Look to see if the pads had a wired wear to them.

It was the pinion yoke. Needing a nice lubing. No more squeak and driveshaft back in. No more 2wd jeep!

I didn't really "pick it up." It was my (late) great-aunt's and I traded her son for it.

I finally got it in my possession though. Now that I have my own house and not an apartment I was able to finally get it out of my mom's driveway!

This is its new home. Restoration will be beginning soon...

Didn't get the xj. However I'm going to look at something different in the morning. Something too sweet to pass on.

That deal didn't go through (vehicle was sold before I could make it there).

I'm pretty set right now on getting a Comanche as my dd. Need a truck...want a jeep. Seems like the solution!
