How are you liking those MT/Rs? It'll be a while before I move up to 35s but I'm researching now. Considering BFG KOs (ran this style since we bought the Jeep), KM2s, and MT/Rs.

Hands down the best tire I've owned. As long as the jeep is dual purpose its probably going to get these tires

I've got a tremendous squeak coming from somewhere up front. I've replaced the ds to yoke u joint and the unit bearing and it's still there.

Squeaks on take off and stops, 0 to 8 mph and vice versa.

Thoughts? Cv part of driveshaft?

It's bugging the **** out of me.

Axle shaft u joint?

Brake rotor?

Sounds like brake caliper and rotor to me. Look to see if the pads had a wired wear to them.

06 WK 5.7 Hemi Overland - Daily
87 MJ Chief 57k original miles... getting built in the backyard. 37s, waggy axles, D300, 6 speed, etc.

Gone - 05 LJ on 37s, 79 FSJ Chief on 38s, 85 CJ-7 on 31s

It was the pinion yoke. Needing a nice lubing. No more squeak and driveshaft back in. No more 2wd jeep!

I didn't really "pick it up." It was my (late) great-aunt's and I traded her son for it.

I finally got it in my possession though. Now that I have my own house and not an apartment I was able to finally get it out of my mom's driveway!

This is its new home. Restoration will be beginning soon...

That deal didn't go through (vehicle was sold before I could make it there).

I'm pretty set right now on getting a Comanche as my dd. Need a truck...want a jeep. Seems like the solution!
