And the low quality of the pictures makes the welds look bad.

Already ahead of you on that one! the previous owner of this axle started welding the tubes too.. but the welds were so bad I took them out and re-welded them.

The shave came out nice. How hard was it to turn the ring down? I have a Clausing lathe at the house that can easyly do a ring but never tried it. I guess once you agt past the first few Thou. it softens up, so ive herd.

We used a cnc machine with an end mill, so it worked pretty good that way. Didn't actually turn it down.

Picked up some tires for cheap, one is a little on the low side tread wise and they have some rock rash, but for the price I couldn't pass them up. 37 13 16 tsl boggers

And picked up something to sit in. Right now they have been adapted to tj brackets, but that will soon change.
