Duckduckboom's 79' cj7 build

Purchased: May 2015

All I've done so far is drive it around and replace the bracket holding the alternator so it would quit squealing.

Latest:
Finally got the garage cleaned out. Got the Jeep pushed in and pulled the transfer case. I'm now working to clean out the transfer case and and install
402001 : REBUILD KIT-JEEP D20 from advanced adapter.

I've also decided to name her Oso Cazador. Cause it BA.

Long term plan:

• 4BT is what I want, but I will probably stick to the 258 i6 (maybe with propane)
• SM 465 or AX-15
• Dana 300 transfer case with a 4:1 low range kit
• Dana 60 front axle
• Chevy 14 bolt rear axle
14 bold shaved rear axle
• 37” tires
• Air lockers front and rear
• On board air that can run tools
Roll cage

And I am open for suggestions what why i should or shouldn't do something.

10/11/16: Got the garage cleaned out and jeep in. Pulled the transfer case so I could rebuild it with the advance adapter kit. The oil coming out looked like a chocolate shake that sat around for 15mins. Finally got it off and am in the process of cleaning and stripping the case. Next to be transmission.
