"Double Down" Build

I was going to be selling this jeep to a friend of mine and helping fix it, but when he decided he did not want it I decided I would either try to flip it and make money, or I will keep it and let my 05 rest for little bit to prolong its life.
Its a 98 ZJ, my first road legal car that I got about 2 year ago

Dont ask why I dont have a head Haha
I got the rims switched and a little bit better tires after some struggles.

Now it is winter and cold..... I have a mental list of what I would like to do but dont wanna give out spoilers, I will be redoing the rockers very soon, they are completely gone I have to grind down and find out what is left, working on cladding now.
right now there are a few differences from the above pictures hopefully soon to come.

waiting on some tools so I decided I would do some stuff with the grille, Not flawless but decent enough.
What I did was take and cut out and sand down the center pieces, used gutter guard from ace as well as plastic epoxy from them, put it on the back of the gutter guard painted with Krylon Fusion black gloss, some chrome that I got from advanced, and 1 layer of clear coat I had laying around.
Tell me what you guys think and what else I should do?
Current State:

New Grille:
