I called Brothers 4x4 and asked them to change the 4:88s to 5:13s. they said No problem.

Haik and Gaspar are awesome to deal with. they have no problem answering all my dumb questions, giving advice and offering up cheeper alternatives. Realy great guys to work with. If you're in the market for axles (or any jeep needs for that matter) and you live in SoCal, Brothers 4x4 is deffinatly worth checking out.

But enough of the jibber jabber, on with the pics!

Rear D44

5:13s

Alloy shafts

yeah, baby, 35 friggen splines! Check out the size diff... woa.

Did you have any real problems with your S35? i can't find a reasonibly priced 44 or 8.8 for what i need so can't decide what ill do for the rear yet.

If I remember right, My buddys shop re-gear'd my D30 and D35 for ~$700.
This isn't costing me any more as it's apart of the new axle build.

Nope, Wheelin in the rocks on 35s with a S35 right now, No problems.

My S35 is geared to 488. I'm just upgrading to save peace of mind. I know, the way and the places I wheel, it's just a matter of time.

Ya, We do JV, Ocotillo/Truckhaven, Anza, Big Bear, pretty much anyplace. There's a pretty diverse group in my jeep club, so there's always someplace different to go.
