Dirtdude`s zj build thread

I have had my jeep since Jan 2010, I have just now started to do some stuff to it. I got a 93 grand Cherokee. I am only 17 now so this will be a slow build. Now this thread will be mainly pictures because i dont real care for typing a story lol
The day i got it.

Very clean for a 93
Basically i just drove it for almost a year just doing little stuff

Put a hitch on it

got bored one day and decided to paint the gray cladding around the jeep black

done

got bored again and painted the grill black

my friends TJ on 4in and 33`s

Made a CB mount

made a flag mount based off my CB mounting bracket

added two lights...

Then i decided that two lights was not enough

So at this pointed i decided that i had enough with the little stuff so i picked up a BB from a guy in our local club for cheap.
last time being stock

So i had some friends come over and went to work

working so fast the camera cant keep up

All done. no pictures of the back as the camera died.

Stretching its legs

two days after the lift i got a call friend of a friend was stuck

so off i went to help. I was told that it would be a quick pull. got there and he was around corner with nothing but river sand, the had a Chevy 1500 with i think it was 8in of lift almost to the frame. there was nothing i could do at this point but be the shuttle back and forth from the road to the spot. in the process ended up getting stuff and needing a tow out by an atv. I discovered that i needed lockers be cause after you get two wheels off the ground you are done.

So i rode around like that till last week when i decided that i needed tire. I have never like the wheels that came on the jeep so I decided to upgrade to moabs and Goodyear wrangler mts

got lazy and instead of cutting the bumper I just took it off

But my mom said the I had to put it back on so out came the grinder

And that is where is stands as of 7/7/11
