Diesel swap from 1992 2.5L w/ AX-5 manual trans

Hey y'all I'm lookin to do a swap in my 1992 yj jeep wrangler, it currently has a 2.5 with a 5 speed ax-5 transmission, I need information on where to get parts and an estimation of what exactly I'll need, and if at all possible where I can locate the part(s) I've heard a little about a mercades engine but most about the cummins 4bt, I have a dodge 3500 with a cummins and i have not one bad thing to say bout it so I'd like to stick with cummins if any body can help find me any information to get me started that would be amazing!
