if you are running normal it is very quiet,
however if you have to get on it, it becomes VERY loud, but that is partly due to the fact that the exhaust points down before the rear axle, if I were to extend the tailpipe further out the back it is fairly quiet

well on my web page it shows that I built from parts soooooo...

I have no idea of what it was before the "swap" since I never had the old engine or tranny installed in the jeep for a height reference..

Wow. I just did a 4.0 swap and I thought it was almost too complicated and it was from a Jeep vehicle. I can't even imagine swapping something as complicated as a diesel that wasn't even from a Jeep.

Did you use a custom spring rate to make up for the extra weight?

diesel is definitely easier to setup after u get the few custom pieces made. These old diesels dont really have any wiring to do, no computer. kind of plug and play once u drop it in.

Currently Jeepless, if you get too frustrated with yours I'll take it off your hands.

For what you gave for the truck, after jerking the engine out you could scrap the rest of the truck and probably break even or better!!!
