I'll get on that tomorrow.

You do own a hairdryer don't you she asked? Of course I do, he replied, it's in the driveway, it's called a Jeep.

Well, I guess my Jeep ISN'T fixed. Went out to start it this morning and it did the same thing it was doing before.

It has power in the on and accessory positions. Once you go to crank it all the power cuts out and therefore won't start. It doesn't come back on until the Jeep sits for awhile. I don't know if it's a bad ground or the ignition or what.

I was gone for an hour and just tried it again when I got home. The power was back on, but I went to crank it and nothing. I tried first without the clutch pushed in and it was fine. I pushed the clutch in and tried to crank it and it kicked back out again. This is really frustrating.

It was! Really nice, down to earth guy. After the first night I was working for him, we walked from the studio to Kings Cross station chatting about life, booze, drums, women, stuff etc being jostled by the pedestrian traffic, I hailed him a cab, he went that way, i went the other and then it dawned on me............

He's just a drummer, just like me!

no sanding! It was undercoating spray but eventually I'm going to strip it off and bedline it.

i'm kind of new to all this stuff, did you remove your whole grille or just put newspaper all around it?

Basically all I did was tape newspaper onto the fenders and over the radiator (where I wanted the paint to stop). You can slide the newspaper between the grille and the fender and tape it which worked extremely well. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the prep. You'll also want to take out the headlight bezels, and I also pulled the bumper off to do it.

Don't forget to cover your radiator! I think we slid a piece of cardboard in through one of the slats on the grille.
