everything with the new axle is going great i order a new speedo gear tonight and with the next few pay checks ill be working something out for the front.

also welded for the first time the other day it was cool and im definitely interested in getting better at it, but the welder at work apparently has a bad liner so the wire speed isnt constan but its better than nothin

well her is the first ever attempt, its crappy i know but gotta start somewhere!!

just an quick update. these past couple of days ive been working on a new rear bumper/tire carrier. i contacted eddie(BESRK) and he let me purchase all the parts for his bumper and put it together myself. it was a nice little project for me. its basically a not so nice more basic version eddies. I just gotta get a coat of flat black on it then its good to go.

I also went wheeling this past weekend with tony (Flatlander757)

had some slight body damage but nothing that wont get cut off when i go to one tones

I also have a detroit that i need to put in the rear end

i didnt have a locker in the rear so on the rock section tony suggested to use the ebrake to load up the limited slip in the rear which helped quited a bit there is alot more pictures and videos in Flatlander757s build thread

Damn dude I didn't know you had a build thread here!

Just read the whole thing... looks good!

Figured I'd throw the video of you in here:

YouTube - Jake going up Choker Hill

Here's a good pic of your Jeep's new "beauty marks"

thanks man, and yea i got the detroit last monday and was waiting for new ring gear bolts to install it, the bolts arrived at my house while we where installing your aussie. turns out they where the wrong size anyways...i may just end up reusing the ones i have because they are not that old.

and yea tony my build thread doesnt have 100 plus pages like yours but when i go to one tons after or during college it might get up there
