Finished cleaning up the modified truss, yet another example of the PO of the axles crappy welds. The truss isn't even centered on the axle. Welded the base for the upper link mount to the truss and cut off the rubber mounts off the upper links and welded on the new Ballistic joints.

Since I spent Saturday doing training and trail maintenance at the Bantam Festival I didn't get much done this weekend. I did get the 9 finished up and back under the Jeep.

She is a model, TV host, and she was on the cover of Inked magazine last year.

So... nobody knows who Jayme is? Or noticed that the pic has been photoshopped. Jayme is the host of the Zippo Encore tour and was at my office with Jerrod Neiman.

Back to the Jeep. Got the brake lines finished up tonight. Finished trimming the PS fender and loosely mounted it. Found some interference with the Champion radiator and the hood now that I adjusted the grill to match the fender. The cap is hitting, nothing a hammer can't fix.

Oh yeah and the photoshop thing totally didnt fool me lol

That's a different Jamie Fox Skyj. He is much less attractive to me.

Got the other fender trimmed and mounted tonight and modified my shock tower brace so I might be able to fit a radiator hose on there.

Almost looks like a complete Jeep... if it only was.

Pretty slow weekend. I did get a lower radiator hose in and pieced a couple together for an upper. Gotta go to the parts store and see if I can find one to match. I also picked up a 350 for the willys project.

Filled my shocks with nitrogen tonight. That was kind of crazy... had to call in a buddy for back up. You need to have the shocks at full droop to fill them, since I don't have a lift it required the high lift jack on top of a 6x6. That was the scary part. We succeeded, it is way higher than final height, but I can always bleed some out. I have to give the tank back so it will be harder to add more. Here is a shot of the front at full droop.

Welded up a center console to mount my shifters tonight. Also pulled the np249 for the last time. I'm having a buddy swap the input shaft into the 231 and install the SYE. I'm just running out of time.

Yea. I think limiting straps may be necessary. I'm just going to do one in the center of each axle. Nothing too exciting tonight. Pulled the tranny so I can repair the stripped out starter bolt and modify the cross member.
