Daddy's power wheel TJ build (Slow build)

I'm making this thread to keep it documented for myself mostly. With 1 income a wife and 2 kids it is going to be a slow build.

Here is how it came to me on 5 Feb 2011:

First thing I did was get it dirty just little bit though lol

This is how

After a lot of pulling to get it out I decide it was time for some "upgrades". First thing I did was get a new rear bumper, taillights, soft top, 2.5" lift, painted fender flares and a good wash.

Start:

Finish

Thats all I have for now but hopefully ill get more updates soon

It took me about 3 hours by myself. It's not the first one I have installed but I haven't done a ton either. I would say if you can use tools and have general idea of how/where things go your good. As for price I went through Jeephut and they gave me a pretty good deal. They have a post in the venders display area.

Red to black half doors?

Looks like you're off to a good start!

I know what you mean about "slow build". I don't think it gets any slower than my build is going! Jeep looks good. Good choice to paint it black.

That's a good choice too! LOL! Desert tan is one of my favorites.

Does anyone have a good wiring diagram for a 98 2.5L ignition. My cluster stopped working while the key is in the run position but works fine if I move it to the start position. I'm wondering if they use a different ground in these two positions. I should note that my gauges do work intermittently and my radio horn AC and lights all work fine. It runs fine and I have swapped out my PCM, Cluster, and my ignition switch and nothing has changed.
