Who are you going to have weld the brackets?

The friend of mine that welded the hoop on my bumper.

We just had a major road block thrown at us, so it's going to be a long time before I can afford to get everything needed to finish.

I finally got around to getting the axle ready for the new brackets. I ended up getting Ballistic Fab brackets, they were about half the price of the Artec truss and you don't really need to truss this axle.

I pulled the D Turdy 5 today to take to my buddy to get measurements off of when he weld the 8.8 brackets. I'm also pulling the front axle to re-gear and lock.

Pictures of the door hanger I made,

Nope, someone that can weld could make the brackets pretty quick and cheap by buying the metal whole sale.

Slowly getting it done. I'm taking the axles to my buddy to tack the brackets on for me. Then after I test fit he will weld it up and re-gear for me.

Buying 35's tomorrow. Still a few weeks on the 8.8, my buddy had to go out of town. I have the D30 ready to set the 4.88 gears up in. I also bought a XJ tie rod to install.

Good choice.
Print this out and take it up there for price match and they will talk about how they mount/balance and warranty blah blah, but they should lower their price a little bit.
