I rolled the Monstaliner today after work. I have worked with alot of different coatings over the years and I can say this is some good ****.

After a few days I will put everything back in. Then finish the steering column/cruise control install. I bought a intermittent wiper switch from a wrecking yard also to install.

Looks pretty good man, I just took the seats out of mine in prep for my Monstaliner. Are you heading to the Coyote drive-in?

Thanks. I won't do another Jeep in MY garage. My house still smells and it's almost been 3 days. I couldn't put it outside because I had no steering wheel.

I don't know yet about going with the club to the drive-in.

I coated a buddy's new JCR bumper for him.

He then asked me if I wanted some Hella Vision Plus headlights that he had bought and didn't like because he didn't like how flat they were. The headlights in my Jeep were'nt the same brand and put off different beams. So, I got these for the labor of coating his bumper.

These are alot better than sealed headlights.

So how do you go about prepping for paint and how do you paint them? Do you have them hanging from something? After my fenders come in and I fit em I'll be ready to spray with self etching primer and bedliner.

I wipe them down first with MEK, then I use a die grinder with a med grit sanding disc to roughen them some. Then wipe them again with MEK or Acetone. I hung them with coat hangers from the roller rails of my garage doors, I also use twine to make them hang level.

When you spray the bedliner hold the can around a foot away and spray it on in 3-4 light coats. As I said before have a fan ready to blow air on it between coats, especially with the humidity we have now.

I used my winch for the first time today. I had a leak way under ground on one of the sprinkler heads in the front yard. The dummies that poured the driveway had left a big cement block on top of where the leak was. The leak was caused by a big root from the tree in the yard, but I couldn't get to it.

Nice work! I hate messing with sprinklers! That's a healthy root.

Hey OP,

I'll finally be installing my Zone 4.25" this coming Friday. Which bolts did you have most trouble with? I'm going to start spraying bolts with PB Blaster every day until then.

Thanks a ton for any tips.
