CraigWK's 2005 WK

Okay, as I've promised many of you, here is my build thread. Always will be a work in progress, but I should have started this months ago.

Bought the Jeep May 2009...Put skid plates on in Feb 2010 and tow hooks on in August.

Labor day weekend was spent installing the heavy duty 3" OME lift and JK wheels with BFG Mud terrain 32's...everything that could go wrong, did. But it was worth it, and as you can see, makes the Jeep look and perform so much better. Roughly 5" more clearance is a must have on these jeeps IMO

(Before Pics)

(After Pics)

I also have husky liner floor mats throughout the inside that I am extremely pleased with! Unlike others, these actually cover the dead pedal, and have a 2" lip all around, even around the cargo area.

That's it for now. Hopefully I'll get some articulation and wheeling pics up soon!

Any questions, feel free to ask!

very nice and thanks again also like your taste in corvettes haha. i will deifinately look into all this when i get some money. will probably be this spring. problem is i just put new tires on mine. they now have about 6k miles on them. maybe ill put them on craiglist or something. I could probably started already but some kind soul at my school though it would be real funny to take a key to my jeep. they didnt scratch it but just kinda stabbed it. gonna run me over 400 to fix cuz they busted the paint all around which is still chipping and theres already surface rsut on the now exposed body metal :'(

Haha, thanks Jahlborn! <---(FYI, those are his hooks!)

Woodsy, that sucks about the paint job. If it wasn't for the rust, you could chock it up as jeep battle scars. We all got 'em. First mod I did to this thing was a branch scrape fender to fender on the passenger side. No worries, that just enforced my want/need for more capable armor, lift, and recovery!

Thanks guys. Yep, those BFG KM Muds are nice...despite some of the comments I read online about how they handle in rain, they tore right through all the deep standing puddles during the down poor this morning. Didn't even phase them. I was the only vehicle in the right lane driving down the access road.

I think I want to mount a couple of lights in front of the airdam. Any suggestions on which lights to use? Keep in mind I already have fog lights, and those can always be changed out for stronger pia's or something later...

It is definitely a solid setup. I ordered the saguaro front bumper yesterday, so that is the next step on the rig. Hopefully I can get that installed sooner rather than later.
