I had been searching iaai and copart for a couple of months before finding another LJ. Picked this one up in late February and built it with my soon to be driving 15yo daughter Christina. 2006 LJ, hit Left front and down, frame bent, transfer case was cracked, and the motor mount bosses were sheared off the driver side. Jeep had 41k on the odometer and I picked it up for $4500ish. The Day we brought her home:

We came up with a plan together and she picked Cosmo blue for the color, first order of business was to strip the front end, and put my old 35 under it so that we could move it around:

Got the front end stripped, jeep loaded on the trailer, dropped off at Acaros frame shop, and then we started stripping down the door and fenders....

Got the jeep back from the frame shop, made a new motor mount bracket, then started stripping the body...

More work on the body: windshield removal, rear end stripped, etc.

Wheel lip moldings removed, body mount bolts removed, transfer-case linkage removed, and off with the body!

Body sanded, interior scuffed and prepped for the Raptor liner, and pushed into the booth...

Body masked off, Christina sprayed on the blue tinted Raptor liner, baked in the oven, then un-tapped the body...

While we were working on the body we prepped the small parts, back sides of everything, and my old 15" spyderlock rings were primed, sanded and painted...
