Today we got the fenders painted and mounted as well as detailing it up a little before it comes out.

Here he is laying down some primer

and then after some sealer and paint

and back to the garage to get them installed

Either tomorrow or friday we should have all the electrical buttoned up and be able to take it on a ride

He wants some opinions. Do you think he should leave the fenders all white or we will paint the flare and the outer tube black and the rest of the fender will stay white.

Let me know we need some help

TBH i was thinking the same thing about painting the tubes and flares black. It just looks like the black from the back of the jeep just kinda cuts off. But very nice project. One of the cleanest yjs ive seen.

Figured i would post some pics of it out of the garage

And the build is still not done, have to get lockers, do some fine tuning on the setup and then probably start all over again with a whole new list of parts lol

I say keep the flares white, but paint the inside of them black.

I'd paint the back flares white as well, then paint the insides black like previously posted

That YJ is looking sweet. I would keep it like you have it but that's just me. Last night I was helping my buddy wire up his ARB compressor. I got the wiring squared away and all he has to do is plumb it to his tank. That compressor he has is 11 years old and still runs like a top!

Man if you were local I would say come get them but boxing them up and shipping, ups is rediculous on pricing also the fenders do have two holes from where the rock sliders were at.

I am with you, I like it the way it is and told him to do it like that. I think it just stands out more and doesn't fall into the rest of the crowd, but he has to drive it so it should be the way he wants it.

These 2 have to be my favorite YJ's. When mine is done it may look eerily similar to yours, yours being the black one.
