One big reason I went with Artecs version. I dont mind welding the pieces together and the angles are the same.

Finally got around to replacing my water pump. Its fairly easy thing to do but can be tedious at times.

I also drained out the old coolant while I was at it.
Lower Drain

Release pressure to let it all flow

Remove Fan

Dont forget to not lay it on its side

Old pump

Cleaned the surface

New pump

Pretty good video for those who havent done this before

Wall is finished and the jeep has been on the mind. I've been thinking about how I want to handle the rear frame aspect of the stretch and have a few ideas.

I thinking of going the way Nate (gst95dsm) went with moving the arch back by add frame near the body mount.

another example

OR

Cutting right at the arch where the spring perch mounts and running new framing straight back like Hendrix did very eariler in the dumpster build

I would love to just get coilovers and this be a super easy choice but thats alot of coin and I feel like doing things the more difficult way either way

I think if I was going to stretch the rear I would try Nates route , the self aligning aspect of it is especially appealing .

Somewhat self aligning, I was surprised how much just a little bit of misalignment at the frame extension equals a significant amount on the other end. If you decide on something like I did Kyle, I have some extraframe left over that might help you.

Just might go the route you did Nate. Its a nice and clean design and makes measurements easy. How much of a frame section did you cut for each side?
