Chester's TJ build
So I've been holding off on doing a build thread since I haven't done anything special to my jeep compared to other builds but now that I heading in that direction here we go.
outboard rear shocks
4 Link rear
3 link front
flat fenders (Rokmen)
modify front bumper
WB 100 ish
Fuel cell or stretch tank (Genright)
When I got him in 2009
After some bolt on mods 31's/winch/bumper
I did some wheeling and learned alot
I installed a front aussie locker
and lift kit RC 3.25
Wheeled it some more for two more years
After a few deployments and some reading on other people's builds I decided to get serious with the upgrades
35x12.5x15 goodyear MTR K
Wheeled some more
Modified the rear fenders
Wheeled some more
Now to start my build after remodeling my kitchen I can now start my 8.8 install
turd 35 out ready for the 8.8
next week my UCF skid should be in with my BL and MML
Nice looking jeep!
Just spoke to Northern drivetrain and ordered my flange for my rear driveshaft. I had to replace the rusted one that came with the axle. It should be inbefore the weekend so I can continue with the axle.
Looks solid! I need to come wheel with you guys
Lots of great trails down here more then welcome to join us
body lift is in. UCF skid should be in tomorrow
Looking good man. Kinda the direction I want to take mine. It'll be a while before I get mine done.
When I went to White Sands I saw a lot of potential trails but it seemed that they were all on .gov land ? Fun looking trails , and a nice looking TJ .
Ya most of the trails are Private land but we have permission from the land owners. White sands is all pretty much gov owned whether it be the national park or the military. Lots of the trails are north of Alamogordo near Tularosa
I need hurry up and get my axle in and start cycling the suspension to set my bumbstops but I need to taper the holes bigger on the UCA mount and track bar mount.
UPS guy brought a gift  UCF skid plate
Now all I have to wait for is my brown dog MML
