Outboard has begun

measured what felt like a thousand times but I got it.

Checking at full bump. I left an inch of shock left before bottoming out to account for the rubber bump stop compression.

Was able to reuse my old lower shock mounts with a little massage with a flap wheel

Lots of room around the brake line and spring perch

Its really not that bad once you get to it. Just measure alot and do it multiple ways to make sure your upper mount is good to go before you cut.

Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together. You'll do an outboard in time

Update
I'm running into a few issues with the fuel tank. Well come to find out its a 02 tank and I have an 03 jeep so some of the hoses are different. I got most of the evap stuff connected and worked with the tank but the filler hose is giving me issues.

I dont have a hole cut for the filler and kind of wanted to keep it that way. Does anyone know of a filler neck used for compact purposes kind of like the genright one

Another small update

I got my riddler diff cover in and it looks great and it is very close to the tank but it works

Tomorrow I'll get my driveshaft extended and the jeep should be back on all fours again
