ccwranglers 06 wrangler take 2

so about a month and a half ago I bought this jeep from one of the local stealerships:

It came with a procomp 4" lift and some almost bald 35" xterrains. I was having a blast with it and wheeling it a couple times a week. I bought some jks quicker discos and a CB setup, and was contemplating upgrading the rear axle pretty soon too.

good thing I didnt because after me calling and calling the stealership to get the greenslip needed to register a new car in las vegas, they said the couldnt finance me, even with my good credit! so I uninstalled all the mods I just put on and took it back, got my deposit and my old car back that I traded in.

so then.... I go to another local stealership here in vegas and am about to make a deal for a lifted 08 JK that looked real nice. I typically dont like the looks of the JK's, but there was something nice about this one. anyways, we were discussing the trade in value of my honda, when there is an announcement over the PA... " all employees please report to the back of the parts department for an emergency meeting." hmm ok, so all the employees of the entire dealership leave for like 10 mins while all of us poor customers are just left to wander alone amidst a sea of new jeeps.

finally my salesman comes back and says "uhh, sorry man, they just closed the dealership (went out of business) and we were told to stop all deals in progress..." hmm great.. I really liked that JK too, plus it sucks they all lost their jobs

so off to carmax I go, and I find this:

stock 06 Rubicon, same color and everything, both tops, and it was in WAAAY better condition than the other 06 X I had to give back. was only like a grand more than the old one too! so I got it, and financing was no problem.

so far I have put my CB radio back in, and replaced the stock fog lights with IPF 900XS driving lights. I have ordered the new rough country x-flex kit and am waiting on them to ship it out to me. also I have a pair of spidertrax wheel spacers being shipped to me as I write, because I am gonna keep the moabs and slap some 35s on them with the lift.

this is how she sits now:

ok so over the weekend, we went camping in Death Valley for 3 days, most of the time was just checking out the sights, but on the way back to vegas we took echo canyon trail, where I got a good poser flex shot on a rock, and there was a nasty (for me anyways haha) waterfall to climb. I had a pretty nice pucker shot going up the waterfall where my rear wheels slipped to the side and my front end lifted a tire waaay up, my bro snapped the pic and told me he thought I was going over. fun times though lol. heres the pics:

poser shots

im 5'11" so you can tell that rock is pretty big lol

my bro standing at the base of the waterfall, it doesnt look too bad in the pic, but it was gnarly (for us)

pucker moment

up and over the first part

up the 2nd part of it
