Not much new, been working a lot. I'm hopin to go on a run with the club soon, maybe I'll go to the Texas Club Challenge at Katemcy Rocks here in a couple weeks. I got bored so I put the fogs back on and moved the license plate.

Think I found the source of my front end popping sound. Could it be the CA bushing?

I want to get a bikini or safari top for the TX summer. I may talk to the guy that bought my bumper about his Bestop bikini or safari top not sure which he has) and see how much he wants for it. Or I could get the Spiderweb Shades SW1 for $83.98 shipped.

Edit: ordered the Spiderweb!

Changed my oil today and got the Spiderweb Shade on. It withstood 70mph on the highway.

Texas Club Challenge is coming up in two weekends, pretty excited about that. Even if it will cost $150 in gas.

Trip to Trees Ranch is coming up in a week, pretty stoked for that. I bought a 5 gallon gas can at work to keep in the back of the Jeep so I don't have to run into town since it's supposedly far away.

Ordered my Monstaliner tub kit just now. Free quart of chassis saver and free shipping for a total of $137.50 Won't get to work on that until May or June, but the prices go up on the 15th.
I'll be getting a Tom Woods and Savvy CAs over the summer with my job money, so for now I'm trying to decided my next big purchase. PSC Hood louver or MCE Flexible Fenders or AtoZ WW2WW rockers...decisions decisions...

Well thanks to Firemedic82 in the Photoshop Request thread, I decided on saving up for the fenders next. I hope to order them in a few weeks and have them waiting for me at home when I get back for summer break.

We woke up at 4:30 AM and were on the road by 5:30. About 6 hours out to Trees Ranch in Kerville, TX to meet up with my club who got there yesterday. We wheeled for a few hours and were all pretty successful. The tranny on the Bronco messed up and only had reverse gears and another TJ (not pictured) on tons had some t-case issues. We spent ~18 consecutive hours in the Jeep (with an hour break for dinner) and made it back to my apartment in College Station about 1AM the next morning. (commence picture dump)

Found a few more pictures of other rigs.

Busted U-Joint on the driveshaft

This happened the next day, after I had left.

It was a pretty good time. They were there for 3 days and camped out, I could only stay for part of Saturday unfortunately. The only time I saw the Yota was when he had the broken u joint, but I'm sure it gets around.

Edit: P.S. I wanted to vote for you for TJotM gst but I accidentally clicked someone else

Tested flex clearance on the club RTI ramp at the end of semester BBQ. No rubbing of fender wells or flares and nothing hits in the front steering/suspension wise.

Today I noticed that my trac bar bolt was close to falling out, so I went to Lowe's and bought a new one since mine was stripped. Got that fixed up so it was safe to drive again. Then went to the park with my girlfriend and her dog; and finally began stripping the interior for Monstaliner. Couldn't get the console out because the bolt in the cup holder was round, so I tried drilling it out but just tore up the console. I'll try to make some more progress tomorrow after work.
