Look at this as an option. http://www.rwkhaussupply.com/magento...-knuckles.html looks like you can get it for the same price as the HP/LP 30 your looking at. About 3000. + shipping.
Forgot about your aussie not working. About 3600. But could run bigger tires with out problems.

This came out to $3851 for me, does that include knuckles and unit bearings though?

No. But why do you need knuckles and unit bearings. You take the ones off your old axle.

Do LP30 knuckles and u bearings fit HP44? I guess the title says TJ knuckles. I figured (if going ECGS route) I'd get the extra knuckles and u bearings for $100 because that's cheap if needed in the future. Knuckles at Oreilly cost $340 each and u bearings are $70 each.

Knuckles are 15.00 at the junk yard. I wouldn't' buy them if you don't need them.

Hmm maybe you're right, then that'd at least save me $100. Thinking of getting some extended brake lines made soon, $34 for a pair. Just need to figure out how much longer I should get them. Also, probably going to order the Ultimate Steering kit soon for so I can swap it on with the new axle. They've been on back order but he has some in stock now.

I wouldn't get the ultimate. I saw in a WF thread imped mentioned that the ultimate tierod is so strong that you'll just snap a TRE instead of bending the tierod itself. I'd rather bend the tierod back than buy a new currie TRE.

Supposedly the tie rod flexes back into place. That's if I get to where the ends would break.

Do me and you a favor. PM Mrblaine and ask him about a HP30 build and about the sleeves and gussets. I think he just put a HP44 rockjock in his wife's jeep so ask him about it.

But I think it has a point where it goes beyond flexing. And that's when the TRE will break. At least that's what I understand.
