Today I joined the Texas A&M Off-Road Club. Saturday is their newbie run and it'll be at the Texas Off-Road Ranch in Huntsville, TX; I'm pretty excited for that.

Sticker! And I'll get a windshield banner after the first run.

Well I got bored today since I don't have classes on Tuesday/Thursdays and I ordered some Rampage Grab Handles from Amazon(should get here Friday), another sticker like the one on my front windshield because I plan on removing that so I can add the club banner, and LEDs for the dome and courtesy lights (estimated late Feb-early March).

Today I went with the club I just joined, Texas A&M Off-Road, to Texas Off-Road Ranch in Huntsville, TX. Had a lot of fun there, four TJs with a JK, XJ, WJ, Bronco, two trucks, an Explorer and some UTV things. I was the only TJ that didn't have Dana 44s :|

Old silo at the top of one of the trails.

Line of us as we watched the JK in the creek

Cool log bridge

The group

And the Bronco that sheared some spider gears in the rear.

Over all it was a lot of fun wheeling with the club and I was happy with the way my TJ preformed for the first time using the Aussie and lfit; even though I need new tires.

Well today my serpentine belt snapped while driving. I walked to get a new one from Oriley's since my girlfriend left her car keys at my apartment. Had some nice folks help me put the new one on. Then I took it to the self car wash and the belt came back off (it had been screeching the entire time it'd been back on) now the idler pulley is super loose so I bought a new one to put on when I get a chance.

Is this one supposed to have a crack?

Hmm I would say the crack on your steering pump wheel is fine but I would check to make sure the wheel is still intact.

The tow was free thanks to insurance, and the driver recommended I replace all pulleys while I had the belt off, what do you think?

Ok, I'll take a look at the cost. Kinda wish I hadn't bought concert tickets for Randy Rogers Band and Cody Johnson Band this morning...

Got the idler pulley and serpentine belt put back on, then went to a self service car wash and the owner came out and got mad at me for all the mud The as I drove home the check engine light came back on (IAC motor message). Never again will my Jeep run through mud, just causes too many problems. Hold me to it! Also ended up buying a 64 piece socket set from HF for $30 w/ life time warranty; it'll be good to keep a set in the Jeep.

I got my new windshield banners at the club meeting tonight, I got two white banners to put on the sides of the front of my hood since I already have a sticker across the front of my windshield. Anyone disagree with the idea of me putting these on both sides of the hood?
I know it's kind of difficult to see them "Texas A&M Off-Road"

Got the LEDs in the mail today for my courtesy lights, I can actually see my floor at night now.

Finally washed the Jeep and decided to put the new club stickers on both sides of the hood. I messed up when putting it on the driver side and it was not straight. So I peeled off each sticker and tried as best as I could to make them straight; didn't come out perfect, but I am much happier with it like this than it not being straight.

Ok so I didn't do anything to the Jeep today except drive it...to a Randy Rogers Band concert! I was front row, center stage. AND I actually caught something that they threw from the stage! I really like country music, especially Texas country.
