TX, huh? That's a heck of a drive! When were you looking to do the swap? I have the axle under my rig so I would say I am not a "motivated seller" at the moment. But could be if the situation was right. It would force me to get my hp44 done and get some 5x5.5 wheels. Oh darn! lol. Spring time would be perfect. March-ish. But I'm willing to compromise.

I was planning on buying a GTS and UCF armor for a tummy tuck, then I was going to buy the HP30 from a junk yard and start saving for the re-gear and stuff for it. But if I found a built one plans could change. My HP was priced so high because I factored in the Vanco BBK which is $925.

That's how I got my D44, still sitting on that pallet actually. Should be going in on Monday if all is well with Cuder.

Sounds like I better get my *** in gear (no pun intended) and get my 44 built so I can pull and sell this hp30. Then order the Racelines in 5x5.5. Funny thing is I am interviewing today for a new position within the company so if I get that 2014 would be a good year for the Jeep indeed.

Sounds good to me. How much, based on your experience with shipping that rear D44, do you think it would be to ship the hp30 from southern PA to TX?

PS: Off work till the 2nd so the 44 is getting cut this week!

Well I know freight was like $300 from the NE area. Not sure if it'd even be worth it to you.

Well I tried to get started today but I didn't really have time. Broke a stud off the old axle and realized the shoes were just about gone. Going to. Replace the shoes on the new axle since I have it off already.

Well Cuder had some complications and couldn't come to help me out and my friend that usually helps me has been in the hospital since last Tuesday I just wasn't getting anything done alone. I put the Jeep back together because we only have one car at the house right now and it was very difficult to get around. He said he might be able to help later this week so we'll see. Other wise everything will be sitting in the garage until I can go home and have more than a week to put stuff together. My rear shoes are just about gone on the D35 and I bought new ones to put on the D44. $18 from work with new hardware (springs and junk).

Well I popped the plastic cover off of the rear trac bar bracket and found some rust, hopefully it's not enough to do harm in the future. Cuder and I got the SYE in and changed the seal out for a National seal. Tomorrow the D44 goes in. Drove home in 4HI and it got a bit squirrely (rear driveshaft not in). I gotta say, I really enjoyed working in a heated garage.

Haha yea my back kind of hurts, and you've done most of the work! You want the MC arms because of their beefiness or what? They make double adjustable a now! Hope to see ya tomorrow to conclude this years wrenching.

Well today was a good day, Cuder and I (mostly Cude) changed the shoes/drums on the 44, pulled the 35, installed the 44, all four rear Metalcloak CAs, and the Adams driveshaft. Then I went and drove it around for a bit, between the SYE and four MC arms it rides a lot smoother; and I want complaining about vibes before hand. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get the front arms and the security done. Below you can see that my old CA bushings were pretty bad, and a bad picture of my pinion angle.

Well we got the the front control arms in and the ADE II anti theft done today. Nice to have some security on the Jeep now. It rides a lot smoother with the new arms and SYE, but someone pointed out that my rear driver side tire was really wobbly. Turns out I have a bent axle shaft...might have over payed a bit for the axle. Probably get some chromollys sooner than I planned.
