Haha I didn't get around to it today. Hangin out with the girlfriend and her family. I got the early shift at work tomorrow, so that's the plan afterwards. Nice and cool today with all the rain.

Yeah...my sister was all excited that it was like 69* today. I told her that was still kinda high, and to ship me some warm air - it didn't break like 62* here. She wasn't impressed

You know what rain today means... (At least in the summer). Humid as a mother tomorrow... Good luck

Ah that is true but still a 50% chance tomorrow. I might be putting the hard top back on soon. It's easier to move stuff back to school with an enclosed Jeep.

Still didn't get to mess with the tailgate. I had work most of the day and then had birthday dinner for my mom, but I'm off tomorrow and Wednesday so it'll definitely be on soon.

Alrighty, I put the top and doors back on since I'll be moving next month and it made it easier to line up the tailgate. Got the tailgate on in just a couple hours and am very happy with it. It's kind of weird that they have two different lock cylinders for the outside locks and the storage locks. Nice to have 4 keys for each lock Just need to find a way to cover up (or paint) the patches where the old hinges were.

Oh and I highly recommend Rokmen. Got it 2 days after I ordered and was packaged very well.

Looks great man. And I'd just wait until you get some corner armor if I were you.

Hmm corner armor isn't in the near future. I figured I'd do a winch and CAs and driveshaft before those.

Can't the existing hinges come apart into two pieces? If so you could put those two back...

Hmm hadn't thought of that, could give it a shot if no one picks the old one up from Craigslist.

I just went and looked at mine. There's no bolt or anything, but you might be able to hammer it out. I don't know though...

You could use the holes to make a tub style tire carrier like rokmen does. You could always get some rokmen short corners they have a smaller price tag.

I'm kind of out of money right now I'll look into corner armor, but won't be able to get that installed until next summer probably. I'm thinkin the tire carrier/bumper may be the last big mod for a little bit. No garage/tools in CS.
