After work tonight I'm going to completely remove the rear inner fenders and spray the fender wells with rubber under coating and just leave em out when I'm done. I'll loosen up the rear flares tomorrow and test fit the rockers before I paint.

Put NIB Savvy rear upper control arms aluminum double adjustable up on classifieds for $30 less than Savvy website. Decided I'll go the Metalcloak Duroflex CA route probably next summer.

Finished the rattlecan job, going to let it dry and cure over night. Will make space in the garage for the Jeep and install tomorrow. Blemish wise, I am much happier with them than my fender job.

You know you can just replace the inner bushing with Metalcloak Duroflex ones no need to replace the entire CA

Yea I know. Little bit of OCD (not really OCD, but yea) would probably bother me. I figure if I just sell it at a certain price it will negate the loss, all 8 MC arms are cheaper.

I spoke too soon on painting, cardboard has fused onto my paint

Haha thankfully it was the side that faces the ground. I'll try and get them mounted up tomorrow. :fingers crossed:

So I sold the CAs to a forum member. Going to continue working on the rockers today, little difficult to lift up the rocker and hold it in place while trying to get the jack under it alone. Hopefully if my paycheck is big enough this week I'll be ordering the Rokmen tailgate. Also considering adding the PSC tramp stamp to finish off the look, yay or nay on adding the tramp stamp?

IMHO, nay... The Rokmen tail gate is flush mount, thus adding the PSC Tramp Stamp will introduce a gap equal to it's thickness (3/16" I believe). You could always add spacers between the tail gate and the hinges...

Lastly, again IMHO, tramp stamp is just an empty expenditure... There is no benefit to it other than looks.

But it IS your rig...

Oh I hadn't thought about the flush issue. Yea I'll probably just skip it then.

I wouldn't do the tramp stamp either. Besides, isn't it steel and the tailgate is aluminum?

Nah it's aluminum too.
So I got the passenger side rocker on and all the bolts snugged, then went to put the rear flares on and realized they would no longer be flush to the tub I guess the next step is to take the sliders back off and cut them...

I finally finished. I pulled out the angle grinder and chopped of a corner of the sliders and all is well.

That was my entire paycheck

In two weeks when I get paid again I plan on ordering the rear bumper/tire carrier from Dirtworx for $396 shipped. Has d-ring tabs and a receiver hitch and comes bare steel. Don't really want to paint it myself, may look into professional powder coating for it.
