Got my door surrounds from Cuder today. Joey I really appreciate your offer to send me yours for free, but local is always better. Also washed, registered, and inspected it today.

Let me start by saying MC customer service is top notch. I had one control arm where the snap ring wouldn't stay seated and they mailed me a new one free, no questions asked and paid return shipping.
Their powder coating on the other hand isn't the best. I HAVE NOT contacted them about the PC issue because I don't find it big enough to whine to them about. I just rattle canned bed liner over the spot. I was putting the winch cover back on and noticed a chunk missing, bumper is roughly a year old.

Haha nice. Bummer about the coating. I'm sure if you just told em they'd ship you another in return of that one.

MC is by far my favorite company to deal with. Good guys over there.

I would email MC that picture and see if they would pay for you to have the bumper sandblasted and powder coated again. It looks like it will probably peel some more in the future.

Yea but that'd require removing the winch I emailed them just to see what they'll say.

Got my Ultimate steering kit and LCA skids in.

Great weather yesterday. Also a potential buyer for the D35 on Monday and fixed the light bar whistle by adding some heater hose in between the fins.

So I still haven't gotten my soft top from the give away from Extreme Terrain in November. They said it was supposed to arrive today after being on back order, but I instead received two pairs of half door upper skins. Good thing having a top isn't a necessity for me.

Soft top is here, now I need to track down the actual frame for it. I hadn't realized it was a replacement top. Also got a pair of door muckets and a factory jack since mine disappeared.

Haha thanks, but I bet they'd take a big box that costs too much to ship.

Got to go wheelin today, first time since HF in November so I really needed it. I wasn't expecting it to be muddy, but it was very muddy. I hate mud so much. I can't wait to be locked F/R and on 35s, two other TJs with us were both on 37s (one was 37x14.5) but neither of them were locked so I made the rock hills a little easier. They were a little more scared than I was to go up the optional rock hills so they skipped, I put my AtoZ sliders to good use. I was really the only one taking pictures with my phone so we didn't get too many.

TJ 37x12.5s open F/R struggled a lot more than I did on this climb

JKUR 35s (factory lockers)

Longer wheel base didn't help him here

Or here, got stuck nose first and could only winch forward

No one else followed him and after he got back around he looked like this, said it was very sloppy after that spot

'13 JKU washing off

Houston Raptor owners were out and about, I counted ~ 30 Raptors out there

And a '14 Tacoma that got stuck and caught fire a month or two ago.

Wow man! Looking good. Ever make a decision on that front axle? How do you like the front fenders when driving on the road? They look killer!

I appreciate the kind words, the only thing I'd maybe change about the fenders is my shoddy trimming of the inner fenders and my paint job. I really like the looks of the fenders, they do allow water to spray up though, especially while turning. As far as the axle, I will be ordering the HP30 from ECGS on 4/17. Regear will be ~5/1 and 35x12.5 MTR/Ks ~5/29. Configured as follows:

-OE Dana Spicer ball joints
-Axle tube seals
-No tube sleeves
-stock strap style yoke
-flat black finish
-no C gussets
-Detroit full case locker
-no truss
-New CA bushing
-no gear oil
-UCA gusset
-no knuckles or u-bearings
-RCV shafts
-4.56 gears
-HD LCA mounts
-no u bearings
-lube locker

Shipped for $3007
Then it will also get CA skids and TRE flip. And the D44 will get 4.56s and Detroit softlocker (already has chromos)
