All it takes is a simple toggle switch wired to the starter or ignition switch. I did it on my 68 Chevy PU, I had the switch hidden behind the glove box on it. I need to do the Jeep.

You could also pull the starter relay under the hood at night.

I don't really know anything about electrical. Could I just splice a toggle/push button into the 106 Connector?

One of these?

Splice the BLK/WT on pin 8 of the ignition switch connector or the LG/BK wire going to the starter.

Just ordered:
31 tooth Speedo gear from Quadratec
Pair of Maxxima Hybrid Reverse/STT LED lights from eBay
Frame tie-ins for rear bumper from GPF

I don't think I'm ever really in that bad of an area where my Jeep is at too much risk. I'd like to install the kill switch but I don't feel confident enough to cut into the wiring harness.

I think you want APP or XP or plain 985. the one sided platinum are supposed to idle poorly in the 4.0

I think the AP985 plugs work fine with the older 4.0 that still has a distributor. Once you get to the distributor-less 4.0s you're better off with double platinums.

the AP985 can eventually cause hard to diagnose problems with a rough running engine with the newer 4.0L distributorless engines. It's with the older non-fussy 4.0L with a distributor where the AP985 is an excellent choice and what I run in my '97 4.0L engine.

I just thought of something. My new bumper will have a receiver hitch in it and I'll add the frame tie-ins, so I should be ok removing the lower bolt on receiver and just towing from my bumper from now on right?

Should be- Just pay attention to the load rating of your new hitch (bumper), and you should be just fine. Probably won't be an issue anyhow, since you're towing with a Jeep

Will actually be better off... Get that old draw-tite off of there so it can't hang on te rocks... More clearance

And done. Yea it hit the rocks more than my gts did. Well this is good news, I can sell it and negate a little of the cost of the new one. My gts is looking a bit rust colored, maybe I'll need a new one of those before too long

I may have a 31 tooth gear, I'll look when I get home. My brother gave me a box of parts and there was a gear in it. I never have changed mine out, I need a 26 tooth.
