Yep. Don't remember what year exactly, but a newer Ford GT. Probably my favorite car. There were at least two different cars of every single model we saw there except for two, the Ford GT and Nissan GTR.

There were of course a ton of Corvettes, Mustangs, BMWs, Ferraris, Audis, Lambos, etc. There were even a quite a few R8s (although there was only one R8 Spyder). Most surprising were the number of Porsches, there were more Porsches than any other car.

More Pics:

R8

Nissan GTR

Mustang (I think it was a Shelby)

More of the GT

Evora

Saw this little guy in the parking lot

Now here's something cool

This is one of the original Shelbys. In fact I've seen it before because it lives at the Shelby American Museaum which is about a 10 minute drive from my house.

Anyone want to take a gander at how much this car costs?

Wheelin' trip today. Went with a good sized group and did Johnny Park Road then took the Peak to Peak Highway and did T-33A Plane Crash. Good day, didn't break anything. What would this be though without pics and video? Enjoy.

This is my favorite vid. Great example of what lockers can do for you. When I went I kept hoppin' and had to choose a different line. Then two jeeps behind me (a guy in a red unlimited) chose the same exact line I had tried and made it no problem.

Decided to push tires off until late this year. After seeing how well the performed last weekend I'm in no hurry. Figure I'll replace them before the snow sets in this winter.

In the meantime I bought a new radiator. Gotta love Advance Auto, 15% orders over 100$ AND a 25$ coupon off a future order of 50$ or more. 136$ in store pickup for an OEM style rad, plastic tank/aluminum core. Going to use that coupon to get a small cooler for the power steering. Then once Monstaliner comes back after their week long holiday break I'll be ordering from them. I'm also working on figuring out OBA and need to work on the rear bumper and at the same time ditch the stock skid plate.

I'll see where I'm at money wise after that. Will have to budget tire, soft upper windows, and figure out what to do with the sound system.

Took forever, but I got the radiator replaced. Talk about disgusting. I thought the coolant color was pretty bad, but what I found most disturbing were the insides of the heater hoses.

Pics of all the disgustingness

Cut open one of the old heater hoses

MMMM, aluminum.

Only thing I'm worried about is the lower radiator hose. For some reason when I cut it it came out a bit short. I did what I did with the upper hose, put the old and new on top of each other and cut to match, however it would seem the new lower hose was molded a tad differently. I'll keep my eye on it to check for leakage.

Some updates:

New tires, CO2 tank, Genright rear crossmember, new upper windows, ripped my top last wheeling trip (damn trees), and polished/waxed the paint for the first time in prep for the winter.

Looks like you wheel on some tight trails with the damage above and ripping the windows..... Have you eve thought about taking off the windows and doors?

I wasn't really expecting the tight trees and trail. The trail book I had wasn't very detailed, I'll be printing out trail damage maps from now on. Any way, we were just following those mini buggies you see in the pics. By the time we realized how tight it was, it was beyond the point of getting out and removing the whole top.

It was fun though, nothing that couldn't be done, but certainly tense with a large drop on one side, narrow trail, and trees. The end is worth it because you come to an old mine that hasn't been blown in and good views.

If anyone knows, that's castle gulch on the very backside of left hand canyon.

Another pic. There are some videos of the rock crawling/hill climbing in the area, but it's a lot of work to post video from my phone.

8.8 is getting started, picked it up from u pull n pay this past weekend for 125$. Tools I need to do gears are ordered, and 4.88 gears/master install kit will be ordered in a couple weeks. After that I'll pick up a HP30, gear it, get all the brake parts for the 8.8 and artec truss, then swap the new axles in. I'll have to do the truss/brackets at the time of the swap so I can test fit.

Hows axle going?

I got my 8.8 the other day but I have not started on it yet. I thought about the truss kit. What mounts are you going to do?
