Picked up a 14 bolt rearend today. It's got 5.13 gears and a detroit locker in it. A little rusty on the inside from sitting, but overall good shape. Haven't decided if I'm going to shave it or not, going to do some research first.

Love the progress so far! I've always likes the scramblers, and wouldn't mind having one for a toy some day. Of course thats after I find me a Wagoneer with an AMC 401. Thinking about trying to fit it to a J20 frame and use it for my tow rig.

Ha, not yet. I got in trouble by the wife for spending to much money this month . Women are . Don't they know jeeps should be the first priority in the budget. Got to wait till after the first of the month till I can blow some mo benjamins. Gotta stay off craigslist till then. That site gets me in to much trouble. Next month we'll have some rock sliders, be full width in the rear, have the motor fired up and finished.... Till then gotta work with what I got. May start building some bumpers in the mean time.
