A few reasons. The reason why I started this build 2 years ago was so I wouldn't bash up my LJ. Well over the years, wheelin has takin its toll on it (espcially last weekend). With the price of fuel (and everything else) going up, its going to cost a fortune to take this thing north of Florida several times a year like I orginally planned. My LJ is feeling neglected as all my Jeep money goes to the scrambler. If I could sell this for around what I have in it, I would just pump some steroids into my LJ and have a happy medium DD wheeler and not have another jeep sitting in the shop all the time. Also considered keeping the new Iroks and one tonning the LJ but not sure if I want that big of a DD.

Thanks guys, I really would like to see it finished also. Still haven't decided if I'm going to sell it or not, thinking about just putting a price on it and if it sells great and if not then no big deal. One thing making me want to keep it is I would love to have a chance to run in Peterson's Ultimate Adventure and I'm not about to enter my LJ.

And for a quick update, picked up a new set of YJ springs to swap in cause the ones I have now are pretty weak.

A couple of pics from the other day

Yesterday I swapped out all four springs. Lowered the front 2" and the back about 1". Hard to tell in the pics, but it definately sits lower. Up next, bumpstops and start prepping for paint.

I wish I could get it a little lower, but without frenching the hangers or going with coilovers it aint going to happen.
