Here is what needs to be done by the 21st so I can take it to Jeeptoberfest

Replace transfercase adapter
Make the sidemount for the transfercase
Fix the overheating problem (going to do the contour dual fan)
Gear change (found someone to do it, need to order gears)
Replace power steering belt
Replace lower radiator hose (somehow got a small hole in it)
Exhaust

I'm sure I'll find some small items when I go through and double check everything. It's going to be close but I think it will be ready.

1 year and 10 months, I'm ready to have this thing done. We'll no Jeep is actually done, but I'm ready to start wheelin it. Once I get it going I'll probably put off the finishing touches (paint and such) till after the first of the year.

Today I had the front axle regeared to 5.13 Going wheelin tomorrow so not sure how much I'll get done to it, hopefully at least get the front end back under it. Have the tranny/transfer case adapter and seals and the contour fan sitting in the shop waiting to go in.

I just read this entire build durning my shift at my second job today. I think I need to get some better jobs...

This is one really cool, original build and I can't wait to see some wheeling videos. Best of luck to you!

Got a point there that nobody could argue. I look between incoming calls. Basically what I mean is that I don't make enough to put any real money into my Jeep.

It looks like you're really making your money count on this very original build. Cool idea and I'm looking forward to seeing wheeling vids. It DOES sound like a real beast!

replace transfercase adapter done!

fix the overheating problem (going to do the contour dual fan) done! Who ever figured this swap out is a genuis.
gear change (found someone to do it, need to order gears) done!
replace power steering belt done!
replace lower radiator hose (somehow got a small hole in it) done!
exhaust somewhat done

Above items are finished

Putting the new trans/transfercase adapter on

New hood hinges and hood catches. Also hit some of the bare steel areas where I sanded with some primer.

Took it back down to my pasture and wheeled it a bit more and it did good. Now I just need to get a nut for the steering wheel, rebolt down the steering column, put a couple more bolts on the window hinges, grease everything again, and give it a good once over then it's off to Jeeptoberfest!
