The Build of Bruce Almighty

Hey guys. Sittin here bored on Easter sunday so i figured hell ill post a build thread. Havent done too much to it but its changed alot since i got it a year and a half ago. At least to me.

Not sure where the name Bruce came from. Me and a buddy just randomly came up with it cause it sounds tough and fits a Jeep. The almighty part came from one of my other gal friends. So NO its not named after the movie haha.

So here it was after buying. So clean and nice lol.

Drive it like that for all my senior year of high school. After graduation i got myself a damn job and start makin money. Then i started spendin money on it.

First thing i did was make an intake outta some spare parts.

And jimmy rigged an exhaust.

Then threw some lights on it and pulled that stupid air dam thing off.

Got some H4 conversion lamps for it. No pic accept til later on.

After that it sat idle for a little while. Then i got a stereo for it. At this point its loud for me but it sounds good for what i listen to.

Next i got a set of 31's and Jeep wheels and then pulled the flairs. And cleaned it all up. Put the plate back on caus ei was tired of gettin hasled by cops.

Got a black grill and bezels off ebay cause i didnt like all the chrome.(Chrome ones for sale still)

Got these bad *** mo ****as for 250 for 5 with lots o tread.

Waited for the funds to accumulate again. Til i got all this stuff.

And a Uniden Pro538 that for some reason isnt in that pic lol.

All mounted up.

Pa speaker under hood and different intake.

New battery cause my old one went to ****.

Got my muffler put on.

Video of exhaust at idle:

My personal favorite thing so far. BFG MT's on the V5's.

Then had to buy this lol.

Trimmed some and pulled these off cause they were in the way of the tires.

The next and pretty much final purchase was these. 4" fab tech coils off eBay. Sadly theyre still sittin in that same spot.

Last thing ive done is regular maintanence and threw my JF sticker on and a special sticker for the ladies.

Let me know what yall think. Im done for awhile on it. Ill be doin normal stuff like plugs/wires soon. Maybe some diff covers. I need some hooks for the front and a hitch but well see what happens.

Looks really good man, nice work. Nice deal on those tires, did you find those on here? How's that flowmaster sound? I'm looking for something that sounds good. I'm trying to decide between a flowmaster and borla. I'm afraid of having my jeep sound like a high pitch fart as I'm driving down the street like these little honda civics around me.

Thanks man.

Got the tires through my dads buddy who has a lifted TJ. Was gettin rid of them cause he wanted some AT's instead. Hes a jeeper so youd think he would know the value of em but w/e lol. Also found out he races jeeps and builds axles and does gearing and stuff too.

I love the flowmaster. had it on for a couple hunded miles and its gotten a little louder but not much. Sounds awesome to me. I have a video revvin it up but its not the best quality.

That's like striking oil right there..That's a huge hookup for if/when you re-gear. Exhaust has a nice deep tone, I'd like to do mine by summer.

I know right. Its actually my dads friend's neighbor. But same difference. If i re-gear ill be goin to his house first.

I love how it sounds at idle and through the rpm's. Clean rumble too for an i6. Not raspy or anything.

Looks pretty sweet with the 32's. Notice a loss in power after adding the tires and steel rims?

Good luck with installing the coils and how much did you get them for by the way?

Sold my subs, havent put the tow hooks on yet but im gonna paint the bumper with some spray on bed liner. Should look sweet. And i cut off the lower portion of my front fenders to line up with the bottom of my grill. Should look good when the bumper is back on. Not gonna lie I kinda dig the bumper less look. Should have pics up this weekend.

So a couple new things.

Got a high flow cat. Sounds alot better now. Sound clip up soon probably.

Cut my front fenders so theyre level with the lights. Bedlined my front and rear bumpers.

3 coats on the front bumper. And about 4 on the rear.

Should be doin the rocker panels and lower doors and gas door this weekend if weather co-operates. Probably go about 5-6 coats for more protection.

Thats it for now. After i finish bedlining. I probably wont do much for awhile. Im saving up to move out. Next on my list tho is the RockRatz rooftop tire carrier. And Rock Crusher diff covers for the ol 30 and 8.25. Rock rails eventually.

I need to make up my mind about my fenders tho. I wanna trim pretty bad but am nervous about cutting that much. Input?

Thanks guys.
