No its not! and most people are coming out with huge motorhomes. They can store all kind of jeep parts in there. and the hope is that u only gotta carry em one way

Good News: just got an email from dirtworx and it looks like it will cost $410 for the Jerrycan bumper with d-rings and everything. Pretty sweet deal. I think it will be coming in a couple months when my b-day comes around. IF i cant get enough, i can probably get his simple carrier for around $300....lets hope not tho.

Keep an eye on CL, there's going to be a Jeep Swap Meet coming up in Ramona in the next month or so.

Did you ever get shocks? I have a two front Bilsteins from a TJ with 3" lift that are going to go free to a good home in the SD area

Feel free to come down and dig through the parts pile sometime.

Nice job on the CL finds, now back off so I can get some deals

No i never did get shocks, but i am looking for rear, not front. Thanks for the offer tho. I am looking for tube fenders or a bumper/carrier combo if you have either of those. Do you live in Ramona? Where is this "pile"?

That was me e-mailing you for the past couple of days about your carrier

I'm in downtown SD, the "pile" is at a friend's place in Clairemont, sorta the central dumping ground

I just installed a set of Doestch Tech shocks, really, really nice shocks for the price ($202 out the door w/no tax if you pay cash and pick them up in El Cajon). Nice enough that I bought another set for my F-250.

What is Robert charging for shipping on the bumper these days? I'm up in that area every few weeks... When I bought mine from him a few years ago I went up and picked it up, installed it up there and drove home. I had the D-Ring mounts on mine and never used them in three years, but I did listen to the D-Rings rattle constantly, personally I wouldn't get them again. I have used them on the front bumper doubling a winch line though.

Good bumper for the price, the latch kinda sucks but it's liveable, and pick up or fab a set of frame tie-ins, keeps it nice and tight.

o got cha. Are there any good items in that "pile"? I would love to come take a look next week when im on spring break.

I think robert is charging like $60 for shipping, but i was planning on picking it up. I think i will follow your advise and skip the D-rings on the back and use that money for the frame tie-ins

Idk if anything i think i would add a set going back. Or maybe one in front and one going back. They are hard to mount using existing holes and keeping them out of the way.

Good news: I made some money this weekend and my budget is now up to $311. Im not sure what im gunna get yet. I might get the Dirtworx bumper before my birthday and get something else then...im not sure.

I heard my grandfather know of a good deal on tube fenders. I will see what the prices are and decide if i want to buy those over trying to make some with you guys this summer
