My TJ and my wife's volvo only costs me $90 a month with full coverage on both.

Mods delete this thread, this steak is done, everyone move on.

my JK costs $1600 a year to insure. never had an accident, only 1 ticket that was chocked up to faulty equipment.

the insurance being lower, losing the car payment, and not having to deal with all the little nit pick irritants my JK gives me makes getting rid of it entirely worth it. i love the thing and when i wrote the ad i felt nothing but guilt

this isnt good bye. i'll still be around. someone has to moderate JK section

Car value has very little to do with cost of insurance when you're comparing late model cars, provided you're not comparing 6 figure to 30k.

Number of units produced, frequency of accidents, cost to repair, aftermarket support, junkyard support, etc. the JK has on several occasions been in the top ten least expensive to insure. The grand Cherokee has been up there too.

My unlimited rubicon with every option you could get was substantially less expensive than my 4cylinder Pontiac G6 was (bought new for $24k) with the same 100/300/300 coverage and smaller deductibles.

That said I dunno what the 4runner costs to insure, I just know that the Jk is less expensive than most.
I was just saying that maybe the values between the two would make his insurance payment cheaper.

Maybe not. Getting out of the payment is probably more of an issue then the insurance payment. Who knows though. Just saying.

Sell it and buy a cheap TJ AND a Land Cruiser. All problems solved :-) How can a non Jeep owner be a moderator? That would be like me being in charge of the NAACP. LOL
