Here's about where I'm at according to GPS

40 mph - 1500 rpm
65 mph - 2250 rpm
75 mph - 2750 rpm

Love the power on the freeway. I can pass people, and I can change lanes without waiting for a 200 ft gap haha

Kevin, I was talking to Jake last night and he said his buddy wants to go put around JV for a day or 2 in about a month. Nothing crazy. Just go play and explore. You down?

Rick? You too.

Went to Cleghorn yesterday. It was a muddy mess with all the recent rain and snow. By far the most fun I've ever had on Cleghorn. Ruts, rocks, hills, mud, and some notches. We had 6 jeeps, all came out with no real damage. The new gears and lockers work great, so glad to be able to crawl again.

Looks like you guys had a great time. In the two years I had my LJ and lived in Los Angeles I only ran Cleghorn once. When we ran it in December we started by the lake. It seems like it would be easier to end at the lake?

Yea it's easier ending at the lake. I want to run it from the lake to the 15 though. I bet it'd be fun.

Oh and I may have found a solution to having a fixed bump with the Prothanes.. Just wheel it hard enough that they jam onto your bump stop post and you're good to go!

All 4 are now jammed onto the upper posts.

It was a ton of fun and I made it through the majority of it. If I was smart enough to air down I could have easily made it through everything.

I finally aired down for the first time a couple weeks ago when I did a run with the Mile-Hi Jeep Club (If I had done that in the past it would have gotten me out of a few binds). I priced it out and I can piece together a CO2 air system for about $150-200 compared to the $400+ PowerTank is asking.

I got the ARB CKMA12 air compressor installed for my lockers and to inflate tires. It works great. Aired up 10 tires yesterday without an issue from 15 up to anywhere from 30-33 psi. Does it pretty quick for a little compressor too.

Funny you mention that, my plan is to have that be my backup air source when I add lockers.
